Heracleides of Cyme : ウィキペディア英語版 | Heracleides of Cyme
Heracleides (or Heraclides) of Cyme (; fl. 350 B.C.) is a little-attested Greek historian who wrote a multivolume ''Persica'', or history of Persia, not extant.〔Albin Lesky, ''A History of Greek Literature'', translated by Cornelis de Heer and James Willis (Hackett, 1966), p. 628 (online. )〕 Fragments from the ''Persica'' are preserved primarily by Athenaeus and it describe the customs of the Persian court. Heracleides was himself a subject of Persia under the Achaemenid Empire.〔George Cawkwell, ''The Greek Wars'' (Oxford University Press, 2006), pp. 18–19 (online ); see also Thomas Harrison, ''Greeks and Barbarians'' (Taylor & Francis, 2001), p. 209, note 16 (online. )〕 ==References==
